An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Uphold rule of law, repatriate wrongfully deported U.S. resident

33 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

President Trump has directly confessed he has the power and capability to secure the release and repatriation of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from El Salvador to the United States. Despite the administration's previous claims that they could not bring Mr. Abrego Garcia back, the President himself stated he could make a phone call to compel his return. The Supreme Court has ordered the administration to effectuate Mr. Abrego Garcia's release, yet officials have so far refused to fully comply. With this new admission from the President, the justification for defying the Court's order has been removed. Immediate action must be taken to uphold the rule of law and bring this wrongfully deported U.S. resident home. Failing to do so would be an unacceptable contempt of the nation's highest court.
