I am writing to request that you publicly condemn Donald Trump’s reported personal withdrawal of $10 billion for a so-called “Board of Peace” that appears to lack transparency, accountability, or meaningful participation. Public trust depends on clear purposes and responsible stewardship of funds, not vague initiatives that few are willing to support. If such a project is truly intended to promote peace, it should be open to scrutiny and grounded in genuine cooperation. When even the pope himself declines an invitation to an initiative that supposedly promotes peace’s on earth, there’s a problem. Massive financial moves without public confidence only deepen division and raise serious concerns about priorities and oversight.
