Thank you for your NO vote to fund the govt without healthcare subsidies. The only Democrats who are correct on this issue are the ones willing to stand up to the GOP denial of reality. Then again if we remove ACA subsidies, while that might hurt people in the short term, it would be politically devastating for Republicans. They have absolutely NO healthcare alternative and this essential repeal of the ACA would hamper their "affordability" argument. Perhaps sticking it to them by capitulating would be a political victory for Dems, ultimately, though it would come at the expense of every day Americans' health. I can't tell what the best decision is here but my heart is saying to stand strong and fight with the little power we have now until people finally wake up to the dangers and absolutely lack of empathy from Republicans. They are spineless and cannot be trusted with serious legislation. Thank you again for voting NO to protect healthcare.
