The National Labor Relations Board is the single most important federal agency for working people seeking to organize. It upholds and enforces the law that protects our rights to unionize and to organize together for changes at work. When an employer violates those rights, the National Labor Relations Board is the agency that investigates those claims.
Unfortunately, the National Labor Relations Board is grossly underfunded.
Congress has refused to increase funding since 2010, meaning funding has now been cut by 25 percent due to inflation. Over the last two decades, staffing levels have dropped by 39 percent.
To address mounting union busting violations from the likes of Amazon, Starbucks, Tesla, Apple, and others we need Congress to act. Provide adequate funding for the National Labor Relations Board!
