Protect the Constitution

I am writing your office because we have a constitutional crisis in progress that demands an urgent response. The White House has taken multiple actions that are against the law. Now that judges are saying so, they are openly claiming the judiciary isn’t allowed to check their power and threatening them. We also know that the administration has not followed some of the court orders against them. I would like you to immediately make a public statement firmly drawing the line against these threats to our judiciary. The power of the president has limits. There can’t be any doubt that the rest of the government will use all available tools to respect and enforce the rule of law and the Constitution. I also urge you to plan out your response now for what you will do in the event the White House explicitly rejects the checks of the judiciary. This is a very real threat. We need you to be ready for it.
