What we’re seeing today…
Epstein is not going away. There are too many questions to be answered. And we have a president who is hiding something. While denying reality, obfuscating, and pretending we’re all crazy to care about any of it.
The GOP Congress is stuck in the middle of a convicted sexual predator trying to cover-up another sexual scandal of his own making, and their constitutional oath of oversight.
But at this point, oversight is losing to fealty to a predator. And if you don’t believe that, then release the Epstein files in their entirety. Prove to us there is nothing to see here.
Prove to us the Republican party is not covering for a powerful man who potentially abused underage women.
We know he is a predator. We know he is a misogynist who doesn’t respect women. We know he sees women as purely sexual objects.
We know he has gotten away with more abuses against women than we will ever know about.
But your party has the power, right now, to put your money where your mouth is and show us that accountability is for everyone, including the powerful men who use position and money to harm the powerless.
Show us the GOP still has something to offer America. Please.
