Please oppose the dismantling of the Department of Education.  Over 1300 employees with expertise have already been let go, and another 600 have quit or retired.   States do not have the capacity, nor the budget, to administer the duties of the Department of Education. These cuts hurt our most vulnerable students and schools including Title 1 programs, students with disabilities, and rural school districts.  This is not in keeping with Republican campaign promises to help working people.
