An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

SCOTUS Ruled 9-0, Trump MUST follow the Judiciary!

The Trump administration's stance on the Supreme Court ruling regarding Kilmar Abrego Garcia's return is deeply concerning. Despite the court's order to "facilitate" Abrego Garcia's return to the United States, officials have taken a defiant position, suggesting the ruling was in their favor. Attorney General Bondi claims offering a plane satisfies the order, while policy chief Miller argues the court did not require Abrego Garcia's forcible return. President Bukele of El Salvador has also refused to allow Abrego Garcia's transfer, falsely labeling him a gang member. This disregard for due process and the Supreme Court's authority sets a dangerous precedent. Abrego Garcia was improperly deported without a hearing, violating his rights. The administration's refusal to comply with the court order undermines the rule of law and system of checks and balances. We cannot allow such affronts to our democratic institutions to go unchallenged. I urge you to take immediate action to uphold the Supreme Court's ruling and defend the constitutional order by ensuring Abrego Garcia's prompt return and fair treatment under the law.
