Respect Missouri voters' mandate on abortion rights

The people of Missouri have clearly spoken through their vote to approve Amendment 3, affirming abortion rights in the state. Attempting to overturn or undermine this recently expressed will of the voters goes against principles of democratic self-governance. Any efforts to restrict or criminalize abortion access, which Amendment 3 explicitly protects, would be undemocratic and an affront to the majority who cast their ballots to uphold reproductive freedoms. I urge you to respect the mandate from Missouri voters and reject any measures that would impede the rights enshrined in Amendment 3, as doing otherwise disregards the voice of the people you were elected to represent.
