These are not normal times. The Republicans are shoving through their most extremist agenda and nominees I’ve seen in my lifetime. We cannot act as though this is business as usual—it’s not. It imperils the safety, well being, and freedoms of everyone who isn’t on their side. I implore you—DO NOT COOPERATE WITH THEM. This is not a time for bipartisanship; that ship has sailed. We need you to hold your ground as a Democrat and the values that we hold dear: freedom of choice, respect for our fellow citizens, human rights, freedom of (and from) religion, and equality. Please do EVERYTHING in your power to obstruct their Project 2025 agenda. VOTE NO on ALL nominees. DELAY using every procedural method possible. FILIBUSTER. Make impassioned speeches to the American people about the massively oppressive right wing regime’s nominees, policies, and agenda. WALK OUT OF SESSION if necessary. CLOG THE WORKS and RESIST. The fate of our country DEPENDS ON YOU. Please do everything you possibly can to stop this madness from becoming our reality.
