'No' on SB509. I oppose tax payer funding &/or tax credits to help build a stadium, and it's my understanding that SB509 would do just that. A resounding 'No' on tax credits and the creation of a special taxation district to help fund stadium construction. My take- away from a special presented by John Oliver regarding 'Stadium Subsidies'... scenarios such as these directs tax-payer funds into the pockets of billionaires; helping them construct stadiums that will have little- if any- economic benefit to the local community. I went online to NELIS to input my public opinion on this bill and did not see an option to do so. Why? I think it's also a waste of time and tax payer money to call these special sessions to push personal agendas. Read the room. Nevadans are fed up with give-aways to rich corporations who provide mediocre job/career opportunities for the citizens of Nevada. No give-aways for stadiums (or film studios for that matter).
