An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Order CDC to continue working with WHO

16 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

In a story given to the Associated Press the White House has ordered the Centers for Disease Control to stop working with the World Health Organization.   As you well know, leaving the WHO requires approval of Congress and that the United States meets its financial obligations for the current year. However, Trump’s advisors have ignored that process completely, which not only stop collaboration on new tests, treatments and emerging outbreaks, but will put lives at risk.   I urge you to speak up and demand that they follow the process.   However, this is their Project 2025 Plan: Dismantle as much critical government function as possible and take away any power you in Congress have on oversight and effective governing.   Use any legal means to stop this. Subpoena the people that issued the order. Hold them in contempt if they fail to appear.   The WHO order is just one of several putting lives at risk. Act now.
