Protect American Citizens. Block These Obscene Budget Cuts.

I’m reaching out today because I am beyond concerned about the bill Republicans just passed in the House. As I am sure you know, these proposed cuts to our country’s vital support systems will be devastating. Not only will it add at least 3 trillion more to our deficit, but it will make catastrophic cuts to our social safety net at a time when Trump’s tariffs are already sending prices skyrocketing. And let’s be honest about why all of this is happening. It’s to give billionaires a permanent tax cut while the rest of us foot the bill. This is untenable. I am also deeply concerned about the provision that bans federal judges from enforcing contempt of court rulings. This obscene miscarriage of our rule of law would grant the elected president Trump the privilege and unchecked power of an unelected king. This bill is destructive, cruel, and unconscionable. As an elected representative of all citizens you must vote no. Thank you for doing the right thing for our democracy
