Support H.Res 537: Impeach Donald Trump for Many High Crimes

Today I take pen in hand on a matter of emergency for the Constitution and the Rule of Law to urge you to support House Resolution 537 to impeach Donald J. Trump for many high crimes and misdemeanors. The illegal act against Venezuela signals that we are no longer adhering to anything that the US Constitution or our principles as a nation adhere to, all because of Trump, his staff, and his enablers in Congress. Congress was lied to, and that’s just the start of a long and difficult year of reckoning for the people of the United States. Running a country that’s not our own is not what the people voted for. Stealing resources under false pretenses is not what the people voted for. Ignoring the law, defying court orders, and illegally using the US Military in ‘police actions’ against cities an states that rightly object to Trump’s mountain of crimes is not what the people voted for. If he can do this in Venezuela, who’s to say he won’t kidnap members of Congress, governors, or city mayors? I urge immediate support, and to rally allies across Congress to impeach and remove the President. Thank you.
