I am writing to urge you to protect the people of the United States from irreparable harm. DOGE is claiming to have uncovered $55 billion dollars of wasteful/fraudulent spending but there is no proof that it is fraud or wasteful. Based on the information posted on the DOGE.gov website the items they are posting the outyears of contracts. Based on how federal contracting is conducted, these funds have not been obligated. They have saved the federal government nothing. However, by canceling these contracts that will have to be replaced and by removing the DEI initiatives across federal government they are clearing the way for more expensive contracts to be awarded to their billionaire friends and corporations. They are driving the US into an economic crisis with senseless tariffs that will cause the cost of these contracts to inflate. It’s not just contract services too. They are wiping out the federal workforce to cripple the government. These gaps will have to be filled and they will fill them with loyalists or contract employees further fattening their friends/corporations bottom line. Contracts services cost the government more money to fill a position than it does to pay a federal employee. And all these additional costs are crippling the lower and middle class Americans. While the House proposes a budget that would give the wealthiest Americans $4.5 trillion in tax cuts Too many times has the current administration signaled that they do not have to submit to the system of checks and balances The executive branch has the support of all three branches of federal government, why is he afraid of checks and balances? He is abusing the executive order and is making a mockery of the presidency. He is not upholding his oath to the constitution. He is firing thousands of federal employees for upholding their oaths to the constitution. He is wasting the taxpayers money and claiming that it’s what the people voted for. This is not what the people voted for. This administration is the epitome of fraud, waste and abuse
