NO to age verification laws. Don't force us to give more private data away!

Age verification laws are lazy, expensive, and privacy invading solutions to the problem. The easiest solution is educating parents and providing them with tools to monitor their children's Internet use. Blanket age verification does nothing as children and internet site owners circumvent them anyways. All it will ever do is invade the privacy of Americas at all ages. What about the data leaks? tons of age verification data just ripe for the plucking. A ridiculous liability when you could just educate and empower parents to monitor their children the way they should have been this entire time.
