SAVE EDUCATION FUNDING & THE TRIO PROGRAM!

It looks like the new administration wants to cut education programs, including TRIO, which has helped many first-generation and disabled college students succeed. These programs provide tutoring, social support, and a sense of belonging for those who might otherwise struggle. As a TRIO alum, I know firsthand how valuable it is. It helped me navigate college, find support when I struggled, and access opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Cutting TRIO would send the message that these students don’t belong—and that would crush dreams. Education should be for everyone, not just a select few. Save TRIO, and we’ll build a stronger, more successful country for all.
