Call on your Republican colleagues to actually work

I am appalled that your Republican colleagues have decided to continue their time off since April. There is so much work to do to protect Wisconsinites from COVID, and to help those who are in hard times. Gov. Evers did all he could in public health policies, but the Republicans would only make power moves, stating that these policies must come from the legislature while they did nothing. There are relief measures that need to be planned and implemented by the state legislature, but the Republicans decide to literally not do anything. How can they treat fellow Wisconsinites, when we literally PAY for their salaries? So that they can do no work? I understand that you are in a precarious position as part of the minority, and I’m not sure what can be done. At this moment, perhaps it’d be helpful to simply see you and your Democratic colleagues speak out loudly against the Republicans. In the long run, such chutzpah really stems from gerrymander. I call on you to continue working toward fair map, fair districting, and eventually fair election. Thank you for your representation, and for the work you’ve done.
