Abolish Parasitic Landlords. People are living on the streets while homes go empty just so businesses that don't provide anything can make more money. We need to end the business model of withholding basic human necessities to extort people. It is always the most vulnerable and poorest of us who have to pay the price. If rental properties need to exist we can provide better service with non-profits, housing co-operatives, and public housing. There is absolutely no value in taking from the poor to give to the wealthy, and anyone owning multiple homes is wealthy, no matter what they say. Money going into rent could instead be flowing freely through markets generating tax dollars while ensuring housing security. We need to put an end to this harmful parasitism.
