I am writing to you as your constituent to express my strong support for fully funding healthcare programs and to voice my deep concern about the scheduled cuts to Medicare and health insurance subsidies set to begin in January. Access to affordable, quality healthcare is a lifeline for millions of Americans—including seniors, working families, and people managing chronic health conditions. Cuts to Medicare and reductions in subsidies for health insurance would place undue burdens on some of our most vulnerable populations. These programs not only provide financial security, but also ensure that people can receive necessary care without being forced to choose between their health and basic necessities. At a time when healthcare costs continue to rise, I urge you to protect and strengthen Medicare, as well as maintain health insurance subsidies that keep coverage affordable for working- and middle-class Americans. Preserving these programs is not only a matter of public health—it is also a reflection of our values and commitment to ensuring dignity and stability for all. I respectfully ask that you oppose cuts to Medicare and health insurance subsidies, and instead prioritize funding that protects access to care for those who need it most. Thank you for your leadership and for considering the voices of your constituents on this critical issue.
