Investigate Israel abuse under Leahy Law

The State Department is ignoring the application of the Leahy Law to Israel. Since 2002 the state department has declined to investigate and apply sanctions to Israel when human rights abuses are brought to their attention. The latest iteration of the State Department agreement with Israel allows Israel to decide whether Israel is committing human rights abuses. American taxpayers are paying for the armaments that Israel is using to demolish Gaza. The money out of American pockets is being used to kill tens of thousands of women and children in Gaza. Congress must execute it s oversight of how American taxpayer money is spent. Are our taxes being used to commit crimes in other countries? The Leahy Law must be brought to bear on Israel's actions. It is time for Congress to investigate the State Department and its conduct of oversight of Israel's use and abuse of American weapons.
