An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Impeach Trump for Abusing Executive Power and Ignoring the Law

44 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

Donald Trump has lied to the American people—again. This time, he denied invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport Venezuelans, claiming he never even signed it. Yet, the Federal Register proves otherwise, with Trump’s own signature on the proclamation. And, as we all know, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Trump has completely disregarded a judge’s order—a direct violation of the rule of law. He does not believe laws apply to him, and if Congress allows this to go unchecked, he will continue to escalate his abuse of power. I am calling on you to take the lead in Congress to initiate impeachment proceedings immediately. Trump’s pattern of lies, executive overreach, and outright defiance of judicial authority demands action. If left unchecked, this will not stop—it will get worse. History will remember who stood up to a lawless president and who allowed him to trample the Constitution. It’s time for Congress to act. Begin the impeachment process now.
