An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Vote no on the terrible, heartless, disgusting BIG BAD BILL!

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

VOTE NO TO THIS WILDLY UNPOPULAR AND HEARTLESS BIG BAD BILL!! Rand Paul opposed the bill's $5 trillion debt limit increase, and Thom Tillis rejected it due to cuts that would cost his state nearly $39 billion in Medicaid funding. The bill includes priorities such as $160 billion for border security, $150 billion for defense, tax cuts for workers, and extensions of Trump's 2017 tax reforms. • The Congressional Budget Office estimates the bill could cut Medicaid by $930 billion. Cuts health care access for over 16 million people Ends food benefits like SNAP and Meals on Wheels for millions of people who rely on these programs Stops clean energy production - raising utility bills, destroying thousands of clean energy jobs, and hurting our climate Raises tax bills for 14 million American households All to give tax cuts to billionaires and big corporations and raise our debt by trillions!! It’s all terrible! Just vote no.
