An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Venezuelan Little League team should be given visas.

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The government's blanket visa denials based solely on nationality raise concerns about undermining the spirit of international sporting events that promote cultural exchange and personal growth through athletic competition. Not permitting the Venezuelan Little League baseball team visas to enter the US for the Little League World Series is wrong. Preventing participation of entire national teams risks depriving young athletes of formative experiences that global tournaments uniquely provide. With major events like the World Cup and Olympics on the horizon, a reasonable path forward should be explored to facilitate responsible participation, allowing connections across borders while addressing legitimate security concerns.
