An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Condemn the War in Iran and Support Immediate Withdrawal

18 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I need you to publicly condemn the war in Iran and support immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces. Silence on this issue is complicity. The attack that killed over 100 Iranian schoolchildren in late February has destroyed America's global standing. Our allies have condemned this war as unlawful. Former State Department under secretary Richard Stengel warns that confidence in American leadership has collapsed to 30-40% and may never recover to the levels we saw under Carter or Reagan. The damage to our reputation may be irreparable. This war has revived the image of America as a narcissistic bully. Our ability to promote democracy and project influence through soft power rather than military force is ending. Trump's actions in Iran, Venezuela, and threats against Cuba are undoing decades of diplomatic work. Your constituents are watching. Where you stand on this war will define your legacy. Speak out against this catastrophic policy now.
