Republicans are supposed to be fiscally responsible and small government. These trans bans are giant overreach, impacting only a few and you have wasted a hell of a lot of taxpayer money on it.
As a reminder, you're smart enough to know you do not have a mandate. Republicans have an incredibly pathetic and slim majority in congress, and more people voted for someone other than Trump, than for him. Even in the Republican primaries.
What is gained by attacking transgender people? What is honestly gained for any American by the persecution of a small minority of people? Why are you obsessed with attempts to ban trans people from public life. To what end? Who does it help, who does it serve? Vote against the nonsense bills that are coming. Do not persecute trans people just because you believe it will help your standing. As Jesus said, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Stop persecuting others and start doing your job - which is to take care of your constituents and protect the constitution.
Side-note: Don't worry so much about Musk taking your job away. WE the voters are watching you closely, and WE are the ones you need to worry about.
