Eliminate Trump tax cuts

I am writing to urge you to support the cancellation of the Trump tax cuts and the implementation of windfall profit taxes. As a concerned citizen and a member of this community, I believe that it is crucial that we ensure that our tax system is fair and equitable, and that those who have benefited the most from our economy are paying their fair share. The Trump tax cuts disproportionately benefited the wealthy and corporations, at the expense of middle and working-class Americans. They added trillions of dollars to our national debt, while doing little to spur economic growth or benefit the majority of Americans. On the other hand, windfall profit taxes on large corporations and high-income earners would help ensure that the benefits of our economy are shared more equitably. These taxes would help generate much-needed revenue to support important social programs, such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure, while also helping to reduce income inequality and promote greater economic justice. As a member of Congress, you have a responsibility to support policies that benefit all Americans, not just the wealthy few. I urge you to support the cancellation of the Trump tax cuts and the implementation of windfall profit taxes. It is time to ensure that our tax system works for everyone, not just those at the top.
