Reverse NIH Cuts

The decision to slash National Institute of Health (NIH) support for “indirect” costs related to research will have devastating consequences for our universities and medical centers, hindering life-saving research and innovation. This move is not only detrimental to our health but also to our economy, as it risks jobs and economic growth. It's worth noting that the NIH returns $2.50 to our economy for every $1 invested. We need to take immediate action to reverse these cuts. I urge you to push our congressional delegations and the White House to stop this damage to our flagship universities and businesses. We must protect the future of biomedical research and ensure the continued growth and well-being of our state.
