Max Miller must resign. The GOP is excusing domestic violence!

Extremely disturbing allegations about Rep Max Miller of Ohio have come to light from both his ex-wife Ms. Moreno and his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Grisham. Miller has been accused of physically abusing his ex-wife, beating her, holding a gun to her head, and throwing boiling water on her. While Miller is innocent until proven guilty, it's important to acknowledge that court filings and recorded police interviews are the source of the allegations. I ask you to condemn domestic violence and spousal abuse. I ask you to take all opportunities to legislate against it and also to legislate for protection for targets. If this administration is serious about these issues, then you must push for Mr. Miller's removal from the House until he has been able to clear his name in court. If he is unable to, I ask you to censure him and demand his resignation. You are surely aware that Al Franken left congress for less? And you know that Graham Platner stood down as a senate candidate for less? Domestic violence and abuse are never acceptable. No government should condone them by inaction. Unless Congress takes action, America and the world will see that the Trump administration, the DOJ, the republican congress and incumbent, either condone or perpetrate abuse against women and children. From Trump's conviction for sexual assault to Ken Paxton's 'biblical adultery' to information about abusive conduct by members and cabinet confirmations, including Matt Matt Gaetz, Madison Cawthorn, Chuck Edwards, Cory Mills, Pete Hegseth, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Bret Kavanaugh, this list is too long. In addition, Congress has failed to rein in ICE and hold agents accountable; the DOJ has failed to comply with the law requiring the release of the Epstein files; and the failure of Speaker Johnson to act on the Miller allegations. Remember that Miller also faces very serious charges of doing violence to a child. And that ICE has been guilty of monstrous cruelty towards children. We see that the GOP tolerates domestic abuse at all levels. When does indifference become complicity? If you do not take action, voters will conclude that you wish to condone and enable such criminal conduct. Congress needs to take a stand. It's not a hard choice.
