United States has completely stopped providing critical intelligence to Ukraine

I am writing to express my concern over recent developments regarding former President Trump’s approach to Ukraine and Russia. Trump’s recent action raise serious questions about whether he is merely throwing a temper fit or, as the situation appears, actually siding with Russia.
On Trump’s order, the United States has completely stopped providing critical intelligence to Ukraine, which has had a “very bad impact” on their ability to fight against Russian aggression. In light of this, it seems that Trump, rather than maintaining support for Ukraine, is pushing for a peace deal that seems to heavily favor Russian demands. Trump has indicated that he would consider restoring aid to Ukraine if peace talks were arranged, yet there is no indication that the conditions for those talks involve any concessions from Russia, including the demand for Ukraine to cede territory and military capability.
During his recent interactions with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, Trump publicly berated him and even accused him of not wanting a deal with Russia. Yet, when Zelenskyy sent a conciliatory letter, Trump praised it, stating that peace with Russia “would be beautiful.” How can we trust that Trump’s “negotiations” will not simply be a way for Russia to secure a victory while leaving Ukraine weakened? Furthermore, Trump’s refusal to acknowledge the need for security guarantees for Ukraine raises even more troubling questions about where his loyalties lie.
This shift in Trump’s position is concerning because it undermines both the integrity of the United States’ foreign policy and the sovereignty of Ukraine. Trump’s eagerness to work with Russia, without requiring any significant concessions, not only risks the future of Ukraine but also compromises U.S. security and international standing.
Is Trump having a temper fit because he promised to end the war as soon as he was elected , or is he truly willing to align with Vladimir Putin’s vision of the world? We must ask ourselves if we are prepared to let a president’s personal whims guide U.S. policy at the expense of our allies and national security.
I urge you to take a stand against any policy that seems to prioritize appeasing Russia over supporting our democratic allies. The situation in Ukraine is dire, and we must ensure that U.S. actions are in line with our values of democracy, freedom, and sovereignty.
