Restore TPS Protections — Stop These Deportations Now

Block the deportation of Haitian and Syrian TPS holders. At least 363,000 Haitians and 7,000 Syrians are losing their legal status right now, making them immediately eligible for arrest and removal by ICE. These are people who have lived here for over a decade, passed background checks every 18 months, paid taxes, and built lives in our communities. Congress created TPS for exactly this purpose — protecting people fleeing war, disaster, and famine — and this administration is dismantling it through legally questionable means. The human cost is real and immediate. Dahlia Doe, the lead plaintiff in the Syrian TPS case, has been in the U.S. since 2015, supports her elderly parents — one of whom has Parkinson's disease — and faces deportation to a country she has never lived in. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem terminated TPS for 13 of 17 nations without following required legal protocol, and a lawsuit is now challenging whether she even had the authority to act at all. Families are being torn apart on a procedural overreach. Push for legislative protection of TPS holders and use every tool available to halt these removals.
