Vote NO and publicly oppose H.R.5398 Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act of 2026. I recently read an article published by The Midwestener, "Huizenga bill ensures uninterrupted pay for ICE agents, Border Patrol, DHS law enforcement if Dems shut down government" (Victor Skinner, September 18, 2025). This piece of legislation suggests to me that there is more concern about continuing the ICE agenda than helping millions of Americans keep healthcare and other crucial quality of life programs. If this bill comes to the floor, vote NO and publicly oppose H.R.5398 Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act of 2026. Thank you.
