I wish I could say that our Colorado delegation were leaders in the fight for democracy and against this autocratic regime. Unfortunately, I cannot. I am very disappointed in you. How can I support in upcoming elections people who have not put themselves on the line to save our country when the time was critical? I don't know whether you were in the military or not, but these are the days where courage is mandatory! Speaking out in Congress is Good and you have done that, for which I am grateful. But it is not enough!
Governor Newsom in California, senator Bernie Sanders, representative AOC, and a few others have put themselves in red States calling Town Hall meetings, challenging the illegal actions of the Republicans and standing up strong against this illegal takeover. They have taken Nationwide tours to stir up the nation against this coup. You have to do the same! You have to join us in the streets. Better yet, initiate protests and other actions that will grind this takeover to a halt! We need leaders now more than ever, and my beloved state of Colorado is not in the vanguard! You are not leaders, staking everything for the sake of our country and your constituents!
But change is still possible! I believe you have the capacity to go down in history as leaders in this critical time. Don't let us down!
