Stop the grift - Musk benefits from tariffs on foreign cars

I'm writing to you as a constituent who, regardless of car they drive, sees the benefit in allowing fair market competition between foreign and American-made cars. The suggested 25% tariff on foreign cars by the president shift the market towards American-made, at a time when the "senior advisor" or "leader of DOGE" or "tech support" or whatever he's calling Musk today is the worlds richest automobile executive. Musk stated that he would recuse himself from any conflicts of interest and that "he hasn't asked the president for anything" but this tariff seems tailor-made for his profits. How long are you going to let these grifters make money off the American people? Not to even mention the rate of deaths and explosions for the Tesla cybertruck is an order of magnitude higher than even the infamous ford pinto. Stop the tariffs before they ruin the economy and allow Musk to steal even more money from the American people than he already has in federal grants, subsidies, and other under the table deals that benefit him. Stop the grift. Support your constituents, not billionaires. I look forward to hearing how you plan to make the economy better for the average citizen, not just Musk.
