An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Who watches the Elon men?

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

It is concerning that Elon Musk has been granted the ability to police his own potential conflicts of interest while serving in a governmental advisory role. This represents an inherent conflict, as personal and business interests may improperly influence policy decisions. An individual should not have unchecked power to determine what constitutes a conflict for themselves, especially when they control a major communications platform that can shape public narratives. For the integrity of the democratic process, there must be robust oversight and ethical guardrails in place when individuals hold such influential positions, rather than allowing self-policing of conflicts. I urge you to push for greater transparency and accountability measures surrounding Musk's involvement to protect against undue influence and ensure policies truly serve the public interest.
