An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Condemn abuse of pardons undermining justice and rule of law

30 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The current administration's granting of pardons to individuals facing serious criminal charges related to fraud and deception is a miscarriage of justice that undermines the rule of law. The recent pardon for Trevor Milton, founder of Nikola, after he misled investors about the company's electric vehicle technology, is a glaring example that enables those with wealth and connections to evade accountability. I urge you to firmly condemn these abuses of the pardon power, which erode public trust in our legal system and send a dangerous message that some are above the law. Decisive action must be taken to prevent further pardons that subvert justice and fairness.
