​Impeachment of Secretaries Rubio and Noem for Conspiracy Against Rights

​I am writing to express my absolute condemnation of the documented actions taken by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to systematically infringe upon the First Amendment rights of students and academics in the United States. ​As detailed in recent federal court proceedings and reporting by the New York Times, U.S. District Judge William Young has lambasted these officials for what he called a “breathtaking” and “unconstitutional conspiracy.” The evidence presented in court confirms that Rubio and Noem knowingly misused the sweeping powers of their respective offices to target, arrest, and attempt to deport individuals solely for their protected political speech. ​This is a direct violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241—Conspiracy Against Rights. When high-ranking cabinet officials use the machinery of the state to "strike fear" into residents and "pick off" those who voice dissent, they have abandoned their oath to the Constitution. They have transformed federal agencies into tools of political repression. ​I am demanding that Congress take the following immediate actions: 1. ​Introduce and Pass Articles of Impeachment: Both Marco Rubio and Kristi Noem must be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors.
