An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Oppose Any Budget Cuts to Medicaid—We Are Watching

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I'm writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed budget cuts to Medicaid. I’m going to be blunt: I’m tired of having to constantly email, call, and beg the people elected to represent us to do the bare minimum—like protecting essential healthcare for millions of Americans. If you support or remain silent on these cuts, you are actively harming your constituents. Medicaid is a lifeline, not a luxury. Cutting it means taking away care from disabled people, low-income families, seniors, and chronically ill individuals who rely on it to survive. What you're doing is cruel. It is reckless. And it will not be forgotten. If this proposal moves forward, I will not be quiet. I will continue to email. I will call. I will leave voicemails. I will organize. I will vote. Do the right thing. Stop the cuts.
