Reject consolidation of power, defend freedom and democracy

The only way to truly make America great again is to stand up for freedom and reject the consolidation of absolute power. We are witnessing concerning steps towards authoritarianism, with the head of our government showing disregard for the rule of law, the courts, and the system of checks and balances. This is an incredibly dangerous moment that tests whether we are truly a freedom-loving nation. Simply put, the continued accumulation of total control by one person is antithetical to American values and democratic principles. We must respond creatively and forcefully through civic engagement, protests, and building a politics and economy that empowers the people rather than centralizing power. The path we are on is leading us towards less freedom and prosperity. It is incumbent upon our representatives to change course and uphold the founding ideals that have made America a beacon of liberty. Consolidating unchecked power is a threat to us all that must be firmly rejected.
