Do you serve America and Freedom or Trump and Putin?
4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
I am writing to you not out of routine civic duty, but out of deep concern and frustration over the continued support for Donald Trump despite his blatant attacks on democracy, his undermining of American institutions, and his apparent allegiance to authoritarian figures like Vladimir Putin. At this point, the question is no longer about policy differences or partisanship—it is about whether you stand with the American people and our democracy or with Trump, Putin, and the oligarchs who would sell us all.
Donald Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that his loyalty is not to the United States. He attempted to overturn a free and fair election, incited an attack on our Capitol, and continues to spread dangerous lies that threaten the very foundation of our republic. His admiration for authoritarian leaders, including Putin, is well-documented. Even as Russia continues its aggression against democracy abroad, Trump praises Putin and echoes Kremlin propaganda. It is clear that Trump is not working for the American people—he is working for himself and for Putin. No one else.
The time for hedging, equivocating, or staying silent has passed. The stakes are too high. I ask you directly: Do you stand with Trump and Putin, or do you stand with America and democracy?
You need to decide who it is that you serve. We elected you to represent the American people, not to enable the corruption, deceit, and authoritarian ambitions of a man who would rather see our democracy burn than admit defeat. If you continue to support Trump, you are complicit in his efforts to dismantle our nation. If you remain silent, you are enabling his dangerous movement.
The American people deserve representatives who will defend our Constitution, uphold the rule of law, and reject authoritarianism in all its forms. So, where do you stand? With us, the people, or with the corrupt forces that seek to subvert our nation? I—and millions of others—are watching, and we will remember where you stood when it mattered.
