Take Action Now to Oppose AZ SB1511 Threatening Privacy and Healthcare Rights

SB1511 raises significant concerns regarding patient privacy and access to vital healthcare services. Requiring insurers to disclose sensitive medical information to government agencies represents a troubling violation of confidentiality. Patients seeking gender-affirming care have a right to privacy that must be respected. Mandating coverage for detransition procedures while failing to ensure equal access to gender-affirming care compromises the rights and wellbeing of transgender individuals. Furthermore, the proposed public reporting of private patient data is an unacceptable breach of privacy that could lead to discrimination and harm. I urge you to reconsider this legislation, which undermines fundamental civil liberties and puts vulnerable communities at risk. Healthcare decisions should remain between patients and their doctors, free from government overreach and without compromising privacy rights or access to care. Protect the rights and dignity of all Arizonans by opposing SB1511.
