Support Global Climate Strike With Action

Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you to support the aims of the Global Climate Strike happening across the world today. We must hasten the transition to renewable energy. A tax holiday does little to move us off the awful dependence on fossil fuels. A better alternative is a rising carbon price with proceeds returned to households. Poorer households get the rebate and it will help proportionally more on their income while the clean energy transition occurs. I urge you do do the right thing for California. The kids understand, and we must help them know we're listening via action, not words or Carbon Offset schemes that no one can understand. Thank you for your good stance on climate so far, but go farther.
