So, for 5 years, I successfully avoided covid. Got vaccines and stayed home in the beginning. Washed my hands and wore a mask. Followed CDC the recommendations.
Fast forward to 2025 and Anti vaccine, anti science has taken over the US.
On Monday, i tested positive for covid. There were 3 people ahead of me at 8 am. At the doctors office, who had tested at home with covid.
After getting home, call the pediatrician about my grandkids, who I am raising. No vaccines will be available this year. One grandchild is already home sick. She tested positive Monday, too. School just started back, I imagine the covid numbers will be going up.
Call the pharmacy and none available for my 70 year old spouse. We had them last fall 2024, no new up dates.
In the US, the government is choosing to ignore science.
1.25 million Americans died from covid, and here we are with no vaccines. Greatest health care system. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
