Stand Up & Speak Up For Your Constituents Now

I am your constituent and I know that you are focused on the discussions in Congress on funding the government’s next fiscal year. I want you to stand up and fight for what’s important to your constituents before agreeing to fund the government. It is a short list First, restore all of the healthcare funding cuts that have been taken this year. Second, restore Head Start preschool so that all children are ready for school. Third, restore support for public education at every level for all of us. Fourth, Restore critical medical research, especially for cancer as so many lives are in the balance, Firth, take action to halt racial profiling in ICE arrests and detentions. You shouldn’t be subject to arrest because of your ethnic heritage. All of these are important to your constituents and we expect to stand up, speak up, and hold the line on them before agreeing to a budget. I also want to let you know that there will be another significant NO KINGS rally on October 18th, after the budget discussions have completed. We would like to use the event to celebrate your success in this matter.
