An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Protect medical privacy and civil liberties, oppose autism registries

41 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

I urge you to take action to prevent the creation of government registries that would collect personal health information of Americans diagnosed with autism or other conditions. Such registries raise serious privacy concerns and could enable discriminatory treatment based on medical status. We must protect the confidentiality of individuals' private health records and diagnoses. Please oppose any efforts by the NIH, RFK Jr., or other entities to establish these invasive registries that compromise civil liberties. Safeguarding medical privacy is crucial for upholding human rights and preventing misuse of sensitive personal data.
