An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Reevaluating US-Israel financial commitment for sustainable Middle East peace.

The United States' financial commitment to Israel, amounting to $317.9 billion from 1951 to 2022, with a yearly pledge of $3.8 billion in military aid, necessitates a critical review. The current strategy, designed to uphold Israel's "qualitative military edge," may not be the optimal path to achieving long-term peace in the Middle East and North Africa. It is therefore proposed to reevaluate this approach and reallocate these resources towards efforts that encourage dialogue, collaboration, and mutual respect among the region's nations. This alternative strategy could potentially yield more sustainable and peaceful outcomes.
