What happened to the rule of law?
The constitution?
Please, DO YOUR JOB.
Congress needs to bring consequences for flagrant contempt for the law by Trump and his appointees.
Almost daily, the president and his cabinet flout the laws and constitution of the US; they also violate international law and betray our treaties.
Genocide is illegal according to US law as well as the international convention of 1948: The US law is the 1987 Act (18 U.S.C. § 1091); it makes genocide a federal crime.
Yet Trump declared his intent to violate that in an unrepeatable social media post and has faced almost no consequences from Congress-- I'm grateful to the Democrats who've supported articles of impeachment but appalled by the silence from within the GOP--who are equally bound by an oath to uphold the constitution.
This is only the most recent of Trump's assaults on the constitution and rule of law. The list of his unambiguously illegal executive orders and unambiguously illegal refusals to abide by court decisions is too long to list here and he shows no sign of learning a lesson from any court defeat.
The Epstein files transparency act is still the law.
Todd Blanche is now trying to violate that law. Kash Patel also reported to be obstructing investigations and disclosure.
Blanche and Patel need to obey the law of be removed.
Pam Bondi is required to comply with the congressional subpoena regardless of whether she is still employed at the DOJ. Please: Enforce the subpoena. Use criminal contempt if necessary.
ICE continues to shoot Americans and lie about it. This must be stopped. ICE otherwise spreads terror and breaks the law. Do something.
IMPEACH TRUMP.
Make Blanche testify under oath and use all the tools at your disposal including inherent contempt.
No new funds for ice.
