Stop ICE From Targeting First Amendment Activity

Investigate and stop ICE from arresting and harassing people who are exercising their First Amendment rights. The right to speak, protest, and organize without fear of federal retaliation is not a privilege. It is the foundation of democratic participation, and it belongs to everyone on American soil. When a federal agency targets people based on their speech or political activity, that is not law enforcement. That is intimidation. Communities cannot function when residents fear that showing up to a meeting, posting online, or speaking at a public hearing will bring armed agents to their door.
