Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) introduced legislation recently to prevent President Trump or any sitting or living former president from being featured on U.S. currency, a bill that would prevent the U.S. Treasury’s plan to issue a commemorative $1 coin with Trump’s image on it.
