Support H.R. 3449, Stronger Communities through Better Transit Act

I am writing to urge you and other members of Congress to support H.R. 3449, the Stronger Communities through Better Transit Act. Since the pandemic began in 2020, there have been more than one billion additional transit trips each year. This is despite more than half of the US population living more than half a mile from any transit service and much less having access to quality, frequent transit. The evidence is clear; Communities want better transit. Transportation is currently the most significant contributor to heat-trapping emissions in the United States; increasing transit options is a necessary step toward transitioning to a clean economy with numerous benefits for our health, wallets, and community quality of life.
